7th October 2015 but when the completion of the time came, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born a subject of the Law, to redeem the subjects of the Law

Isaiah 61:10 “I exult for joy in Yahweh, my soul rejoices in my God, for he has clothed me in garments of salvation, he has wrapped me in a cloak of saving justice, like a bridegroom wearing his garland, like a bride adorned in her jewels.”

Dearest beloved Lord Jesus Christ, Abba Father God, and Holy Spirit, thank You for loving me and giving me a place in Your family and people, the Church. Thank You, Abba Father, for giving us Mary, the Mother of Your Son, Jesus Christ, to be Mother of the Church and the Mother of all Christians, and for preparing us, the Church, to be the spotless Bride of Christ Jesus Your Son.

Galatians 4:4 – 5 “but when the completion of the time came, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born a subject of the Law, to redeem the subjects of the Law, so that we could receive adoption as sons.”

Dear beloved Lord Jesus Christ, Abba Father God and Holy Spirit, thank You for redeeming and saving us. Thank You, Lord Jesus Christ, for saying Yes to the Father’s will and showing us the depths of the Divine Love that You and the Father have for us, a love that conquers sin and death, and restores fallen humanity back to a state better than its original state before the fall by Your grace and mercy.

Acts 1:12 – 14 “So from the Mount of Olives, as it is called, they went back to Jerusalem, a short distance away, no more than a Sabbath walk; and when they reached the city they went to the upper room where they were staying; there were Peter and John, James and Andrew, Philip and Thomas, Bartholomew and Matthew, James son of Alphaeus and Simon the Zealot, and Jude son of James. With one heart all these joined constantly in prayer, together with some women, including Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brothers.”

Dear beloved Lord Jesus Christ, Abba Father God, and Holy Spirit, we praise and thank You for the gift of the Community of Faith in the Church throughout the world, where we gather together for Mass and prayer, to listen to the Word being read, and gather for the breaking of the Bread. Thank You, Holy Spirit, for preserving the unity of the Catholic Church throughout the world, despite the many divisions that still run deep and divide Christians and many groups from the Church since the schisms and the reformation. Lord, we pray for unity amongst all Christians, for the work of Ecumenism, that we may together work with You in the work of Evangelisation and also New Evangelisation, as we share Your Love and Your Word with people who have not yet accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and also for those who are lukewarm in their Christian discipleship.

Luke 1:26 – 38 “ In the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a town in Galilee called Nazareth, to a virgin betrothed to a man named Joseph, of the House of David; and the virgin’s name was Mary. He went in and said to her, ‘Rejoice, you who enjoy God’s favour! The Lord is with you.’ She was deeply disturbed by these words and asked herself what this greeting could mean, but the angel said to her, ‘Mary, do not be afraid; you have won God’s favour. Look! You are to conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you must name him Jesus. He will be great and will be called Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his ancestor David; he will rule over the House of Jacob for ever and his reign will have no end.’ Mary said to the angel, ‘But how can this come about, since I have no knowledge of man?’ The angel answered, ‘The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will cover you with its shadow. And so the child will be holy and will be called Son of God. And I tell you this too: your cousin Elizabeth also, in her old age, has conceived a son, and she whom people called barren is now in her sixth month, for nothing is impossible to God.’  Mary said, ‘You see before you the Lord’s servant, let it happen to me as you have said.’ And the angel left her.”

Lord Jesus Christ, Abba Father God, and Holy Spirit, grant me the grace to be attentive to You, and the humility to allow You to be in control and let You lead and guide me.

Lord God of Hosts, I offer up to You the needs of all humanity, for the graces of Your love and mercy, that we may receive Your grace of love and mercy, that we may repent of our sins and turn to You, being gathered together as One Body in You. Lord, I also offer up to You all those who have fallen asleep in the hope of the Resurrection. Lord, grant eternal rest to all the souls in purgatory that they may enjoy full communion with You, Your Saints and the hosts of holy Angels.

Dear Mother Mary, all the Saints and holy Angels of God, please pray for us and with us. Watch over us, and bring us to our Lord Jesus Christ, God the Father, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
