It is Good Friday, the most important day for all mankind . . .
Man on the Cross
It is Jesus my Lord
Take me too, Lord, to the cross
To die to myself so I may live.
Father, I lift my hands up to You
Hands, I pray, that are clean
Hands, I pray, that are empty
Hands, Lord, that are open to You alone.
Father, fill me with Your love
Grant me the grace to be detached
To seek not the riches of this earth
Moths eat them
Rust corrodes them
Let my wealth be in heaven
My eternal Home
Where my heart is, let my treasure be
